About Me

I am often described as an eternal optimist, but really I’m just doing all I can to fight for hope, especially in the moments where it seems like brokenness is all that’s left. I firmly believe that we need one another, words are incredibly powerful, and a hug is the answer more times than not.

Here a few things that, for me, make life a little sweeter:

• way too much coffee

• an entire chocolate bar in one sitting

• cooking & setting the table for a house full of people so we can gather together

• poems

• fresh flowers

• getting lost in a book

• rainy days

• quality time in general - but time with all the littles in my life

• writing letters

• flipping through a finished journal and reflecting on the Lord’s faithfulness over that stretch of time
